What interview coaching costs in the UK
One-to-one interview coaching in the UK is usually sold by the hour. On coaches’ own websites we found prices from £60 an hour to £259 for a 90-minute session with a specialist. Most people book more than one.
An Ai-Vitae mock interview is €49.99 for a 30-minute session, and it’s built around the job you’re actually applying for.

How the mock interview works
Step 1
Paste your CV and the job description
Two boxes. Matilda reads both before she asks anything.
Step 2
Take the 30-minute call
Out loud, in your browser, with a microphone. Expect 6 to 8 substantive questions and follow-ups. Nothing is scripted, so no two sessions are alike.
Step 3
Read the scored report
Every answer gets a score and a coaching note, and the session gets an overall score out of 100, so you know which answers landed and which would have cost you the offer.
When a human coach is the better choice
A mock interview is rehearsal with feedback. It isn’t a person who knows your industry. Book a human coach if you want:
- someone to work on your career story with you over several sessions;
- specialist preparation, such as medical, legal or assessment-centre panels;
- help with nerves or confidence that needs a conversation, not a score.
Many people do both: they rehearse here first, then use a coach’s hour on what the report says needs work.

Is this a real coach?
No. Matilda is an AI interviewer. She asks the questions, follows up on your answers and scores each one with a coaching note. If you want a person, see “When a human coach is the better choice” above.
Does it work for UK jobs?
Yes. Ai-Vitae is an Irish service and the mock interview works anywhere in the UK and Ireland. It runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to install, and every question is built from the role and the job description you paste.
What do I need?
A modern browser (Chrome or Edge recommended) and a working microphone.
How quickly do I get feedback?
The written report is emailed within a few minutes of the session ending. You can also read it in the app.
What if I’m not happy with it?
Email us within 7 days of your session and we refund you in full, on request.
Can I practise more than once?
