Cookies We Use
We keep our cookie use minimal. Essential cookies — those strictly necessary for the site to function — are always set. We also use analytics and advertising cookies, but only if you accept them in our cookie notice.
Until you accept, Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics and advertising storage, and our Microsoft Clarity, TikTok and LinkedIn tags do not load at all. Our own traffic measurement uses Plausible, which is self-hosted by us, sets no cookies, and does not identify you.

Third-Party Cookies
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, the following third parties may set cookies on your device. Each is used to measure how our advertising performs and how the site is used. If you do not accept, none of them are loaded.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — measuring site usage and which adverts lead to an order. These are used for remarketing, which can involve recognising your browser on other sites.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session replay and heatmaps, so we can see where pages are confusing.
- TikTok Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag — measuring advertising performance on those platforms.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel
- We do not set any analytics or advertising cookie before you accept one
- We do not sell your personal data, and we never share the contents of your CV with an advertising platform
Managing Cookies
You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies in our cookie notice, and you can change that choice at any time by clearing the ai-vitae-cookie-consent entry in your browser's site data, which makes the notice appear again. Declining leaves only the essential cookies listed above. You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

UK Users — PECR
For users based in the United Kingdom, cookie use is additionally governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), which sit alongside UK GDPR. PECR requires consent for non-essential cookies. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, consent is not required under PECR. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and add a consent mechanism before doing so.

Irish residents may contact the Data Protection Commission (DPC). UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which also enforces PECR.
