Your CV, rewrittenfor jobs in Ireland

A CV written for another country’s job market often carries things an Irish employer does not expect, and undersells what they do want. Paste your CV and the job ad, and it is rewritten for that role, with nothing about you invented.

What changes, and what stays yours

These are rules in every paid rewrite, not settings you have to find.

  • Personal details come off

Photo, date of birth, age, marital status, nationality and gender are left out. Irish equality law protects you on nine grounds, including age, gender, civil status and race (which covers nationality), so a CV for a job here has no need to state them.

  • Your right-to-work line stays

If your CV says you can work here, such as "Right to work: Stamp 4" or an employment permit, or a registration such as NMBI, the rewrite keeps it exactly as you wrote it, under your contact details.

  • Your qualifications and employers keep their real names

A degree, licence, university or employer from another country is never renamed or "translated" into an Irish equivalent. Places are spelled the way you wrote them.

  • Your own voice, not boilerplate

If English is not your first language, the rewrite polishes the phrasing without turning you into a stranger. You need to recognise yourself in it at interview.

  • Your dates, at your precision

If your CV gives years, the rewrite gives years. It never adds a month you did not state, and every role and qualification keeps its dates.

  • Written for the job ad you paste

Your experience is reframed around the Irish role you are applying for, in the language its recruiter uses. The ad decides the emphasis; it is never treated as evidence of what you did.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Paste your CV and the job ad

The CV you have now, in whatever format it was written for, and the Irish job you are going for.

  2. Step 2

It is rewritten for that role

Then checked back against your original, so no employer, title, date, qualification or figure is invented, and proofread in a separate pass.

  3. Step 3

    It arrives by email

Within 24–48 hours. One payment, nothing renews.

Questions

Do I need to be Irish to use this?

No. It is for anyone applying for a job in Ireland, whatever your nationality and wherever you trained. The same rewrite works for jobs in the UK.

Should my CV say I have permission to work in Ireland?

That is your choice, and the official sources below explain what each permission allows. If your CV states it, the rewrite keeps the line exactly as you wrote it. It never adds one you did not include.

Will employers understand a qualification from another country?

The rewrite keeps your qualification under its real name, so nothing is misrepresented. If you want an official comparison with the Irish framework, QQI’s NARIC Ireland service publishes comparability statements. QQI notes they are advice, not a legal document.

Will it change my spelling to Irish English?

No. It keeps the spelling convention your CV already uses and never turns Irish or UK spelling into American. If you want Irish/UK spelling throughout, write your CV that way before you send it, and the rewrite will keep it.

Is this immigration advice?

No. We rewrite CVs. For permits, stamps and qualification recognition, use the official sources on this page.

Yes. The free CV check rewrites your professional summary for the job ad you paste and shows it to you, with no payment and no email needed.
